Purpose:
The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce Health & Wellness Committee is a collaborative effort among healthcare entities, providers and businesses in the great Northwest Houston region providing health and wellness related platforms to support economic development. The committee will focus on providing opportunities which support healthcare professionals and wellness initiatives for a healthy and vibrant community.
Our Members:

- Attends meetings regularly
- Actively serve to develop and implement programs/events within our Areas of Focus
Our Areas of Focus:
Community Luncheons: General health and wellness related talk for providers, business owners and citizens on relevant health and wellness issues. These events offer local experts an opportunity to engage and educate with colleagues, offer local businesses the chance to highlight their products and services, and offer the audience a time of networking, lunch and access to valuable resources.
Community Blood Drives: Partnering with MD Anderson Cancer Center, we offer our community the opportunity to give blood on a regular basis at a location that is convenient for all.
Tomball Night Health & Wellness Expo: This event, held on the first Friday of each August and in conjunction with Tomball Night, offers families a unique and interactive evening of fun focused on keeping them healthy and active! Our goal is to increase awareness about the resources available in our community that promote health family lifestyles.
Chamber Cup Challenge: Supports workplace wellness initiatives in place within our community and encourages collaboration as co-ed teams are formed by area businesses and organizations and entered into the Challenge.
Monthly Planning Luncheon - Brown Bag | Noon - 1 pm | Last Tuesday of Each Month
This is a working committee that meets monthly to review and discuss projects identified within each area of focus, and to consider opportunities for the committee to fulfill its purpose within our community.
At select meetings, Committee Partners will educate us on current trends, best practices, and will have the opportunity to raise the committee's level of awareness on how we can support each other.
Meeting is held in the Chamber Board room unless otherwise communicated.
